The white Stripes

Today's artist is " The White Stripes " which is my most favorite artist! so why didn't I pick them as first of my blog? Though they are quite famous, so some of you might know them, because I didn't wanna tell you guys about stripes, I was soooo hesitated.lol But now, I made my mind, we should share this fantastic artist.

They are formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan. The group consists of songwriter Jack White (vocals, guitar, and other instruments), and Meg White (drums, percussion and occasional vocals). Some interesting things, they are sibling, Jack is younger and Meg is older. Jack has one more group that is " The Raconteurs ", furthermore, there will join Alison Mosshart who is the vocalist of The Kills! and group name is " The Dead Weather "

Talking about 2 songs that I introduce, that is " Icky Thump " and " You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do as You're Told " from same album " Icky Thump ".
This album entered the UK Albums Chart at number one. What's more, it won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album in 2007. I'm sure you will be knocked down by their sounds!

Hoobastank

Today, I introduce an artist " Hoobastank ".
They are known for their hits " The Reason " and other hits " Crawling in the Dark " and " Running Away ".
Hoobastank is formed in 1994 in Agoura Hills, California with singer Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, drummer Chris Hesse, and original bassist Markku Lappalainen, and currently signed to Island Records.

So, though there are heaps of great songs, I just introduce two of them, today.
Then, the first song is " Unaffected " from hit album The Reason.
In this album, they talked about the root of their band name Hoobastank, and they said thus; "Doug's brother is the vice president of BMW Motorcycles and lives in Germany. And there is this street out by his house that is called Hooba Street or something like that and before Doug could pronounce the name, he called it Hoobastank and it was kinda a cute thing and his brother still teases him about it to this day. When we were looking for band names it's almost impossible to find a band name that hasn't been taken. Anything remotely normal has been taken already. I don't remember how it came up but someone said it and we were like yeah."

Next, one more song " Inside Of You " is from " Every Man For Himself " released in May 2006. Unfortunately, however, this album didn't get a good reputation, but a lot of chilly receptions, nevertheless it still great for me.
So I really want you to guys to listen hoobastank!

Lostprophets

As my first blog, I want to introduce the band named "Lostprophets" which is one of my favorite bands. So before I introduce songs, I want you to know some about them. They are organized at Wales in Great Britain in 1997, and composed of 5 members who are IAN WATKINS ( Vocal ), MIKE LEWIS ( Guitar ), STUART RICHARDSON ( Bass ), LEE GAZE ( Guitar ) and JAMIE OLIVER (Keyboards/Turntables/vocals).

Now, I introduce two songs from two different albums which I greatly recommend. First one is song "Make a Move" from album "Start something"
This album has produced by Eric Valentine who also produced Good Charlotte and Queens of The Stone Age. And in this album, Good Charlotte joined this song as back chorus.

Second one is a song " Rooftops " from latest album " Liberation Transmission ".
It was recorded in Hawaii, and saw the band work with Bob Rock. Drummer Josh Freese (of The Vandals and A Perfect Circle) recorded ten out of the twelve drum tracks for this album.
